New Release of Status Vision Designer® Announced Tuesday, December 22, 2009
B-Scada, Inc., (OTCBB:MOBS) a provider of real time technology solutions built on the Microsoft .NET framework releases the next version of their HMI/SCADA solution "Status". Status is a powerful XAML design product coupled with web services to deliver real time industrial and manufacturing data in a Windows or web environment through the use of Silverlight, WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) and WCF (Windows Communication Foundation). Status communicates directly with OPC data sources and can be easily extended to connect to any type of data source.
Through the use of the Status Server and the new Status Management Console you have the ability to view data over the web and across domains using Silverlight, with no DCOM required. Status is designed with the end user in mind. By utilizing drag and drop with point and click bindings, Status strives to be simple and easy to use. While learning typical HMI/SCADA applications can take weeks, users of Status have had compelling graphics and real time data published in as little as fifteen minutes. Status is truly the "Real Time, Real Easy"® solution.
Status now includes the ability to create HMI projects that target Silverlight 2 or 3. With Silverlight 3 you have the option of creating an in browser or out of browser application that will run a Silverlight application directly on your desktop.
Status Management Console
The Status management console allows for configuration of the Status Server, Alarm Server, Activity Logger and now the beta of our Calculation Server from one application. Not only can you configure servers on the current machine, but the Status Management Console also allows configuration of servers across a network.
Alarming and Eventing
B-Scada has added the feature that allows you to deliver alarms through email or SMS (Text) messaging. So you can now be notified of alarms while on the go. Configuration for the SMS feature is simple and takes place in one easy to follow dialog.
The Activity logger has gone out of beta and is in release.
Beta Calculation Server
B-Scada has added a new service to the Status Management Console: the Calculation Server. Create your own expressions and algorithms or use some of our pre-configured expressions. Create your own OPC tags from the results of your expressions that are fully accessible from Status. The Calculation server will work in a Windows or Silverlight environment.
