OPC UA Compatibility Announced
Tuesday, June 1, 2010

B-Scada Inc. (OTC:MOBS), today announced that B-Scada's new version of its Status Vision Designer™ is compatible with the OPC Foundation's Unified Architecture ("OPC UA"), recently launched as the successor to OPC DA, which has been the industry standard for the last 15 years. Version 2.3 of Status Vision Designer is compatible with OPC UA as a source of data into the Status Server. This connectivity allows industry to design desktop and Silverlight based visualization and wire it up to real time OPC UA data without the need for DCOM.

B-Scada attended the OPC Interoperability Workshops in San Leandro, California the week of May 19, 2010. Interoperability testing and compatibility was successfully conducted with OPC UA data servers developed by Canary Labs, Iconics, Inductive Automation, Kepware, Matrikon, MSIIndustrie, Software Toolbox and Takebishi. Additional classic OPC compatibility testing was conducted with GE Intelligent Platforms, Siemens, Yokogawa and Emerson.

Allen Ronald DeSerranno, President & CEO, said, "B-Scada is quickly becoming a significant player in HMI (Human Machine Interface) / SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) software technology. The agreements we've signed with some of the larger players in this space validates the accomplishments of our team. Our continued attendance at the OPC Interoperability Workshops and OPC Road Shows further demonstrates our commitment to developing quality HMI visualization solutions. We believe that this will lead to increasing and profitable new business."

"OPC" is open connectivity with open standards. It is a standardized set of interface protocols to permit real time data from a programmable logic controller ("PLC") in industrial automation, such as status and changes in a plant, to communicate to compatible computers which can store, analyze and/or provide graphic visualization of the real time stream of data from the plant or other physical system. The OPC Foundation is dedicated to ensuring interoperability in automation by creating and maintaining open specifications that standardize the communication of acquired process data, alarm and event records, historical data, and batch data to multi-vendor enterprise systems and between production devices.

B-Scada specializes in the compelling visualization of real-time data.

B-Scada has produced exceptional data visualization solutions for manufacturing, power & utilities, automation, and other fields of business making use of HMI and SCADA software products. B-Scada leverages Silverlight, Windows Presentation Foundation and Windows Azure by Microsoft in the development of its products.
